CIUDADANÍA E INTERCULTURALIDAD: UN DIÁLOGO POSIBLE (Y URGENTE)
Resumen
La reflxión sobre la ciudadanía parece haberse revitalizado. Pero es necesario trascender los formalismos con los que se aborda y que la restringe a momentos particulares de nuestra vida, para poder discutir la manera de incorporar nuevas prácticas que permitan recomponer nuestro tejido social. En esta nueva forma de abordar la ciudadanía se debe incorporar la dimensión intercultural, que sin duda puede renovar nuestro acercamiento y hará posible una reflxión más anclada en nuestra historia y cultura. El presente trabajo busca, inicialmente, abordar algunos hitos importantes que históricamente ha tenido el proceso de construcción de ciudadanía en nuestro país. En segundo lugar, recoger algunas de las características más importantes de la propuesta intercultural. La tercera parte intentará generar un diálogo entre ambas categorías, buscando identifiar vasos comunicantes, para poder afinzar la idea que no se puede pensar en una sin considerar la otra.
Abstract
Reflection on citizenship seems to have been revitalized. But it is necessary to transcend the formalities with which it is approached and which restricts it to particular moments of our life, in order to be able to discuss how to incorporate new practices that allow us to rebuild our social fabric. In this new way of approaching citizenship, the intercultural
dimension must be incorporated, which can undoubtedly renew our approach and will make possible a reflction more anchored in our history and culture. The present work seeks, initially, to address some important milestones that the process of building citizenship has historically had in our country. Second, collect some of the most important characteristics of the intercultural proposal. The third part will try to generate a dialogue between both categories, seeking to identify communicating vessels, in order to consolidate the idea that one cannot think of one without considering the other.
