EL ENFOQUE COMPLEJO EN LA ANTROPOLOGÍA. UNA APUESTA PARA LA ANTROPOLOGÍA DESPUÉS DE LA POSMODERNIDAD

Resumen

El objetivo de este ensayo, es llevar al lector a la reflexión epistemológica y teórica sobre la propuesta del enfoque complejo en la antropología, como una posibilidad de discutir con el estancamiento de las últimas cinco décadas por el devenir de los postulados posmodernos que generaron un “nocaut” en las diferentes ciencias y formas de hacer ciencia. Para lograr este objetivo se hace una descripción de los valores que conforman el movimiento posmoderno como punto de partida y discusión del ensayo, tomando en cuenta dos posturas que a principios del siglo presente proponían dar un paso más allá de lo posmoderno, por lo cual son citados los trabajos de Harris a partir de su obra Teorías de la cultura en la era posmoderna (2000) y Geertz con Luz disponible: reflexiones antropológicas sobre temas filosóficos (2002); donde ambos exponen la necesidad de compaginar posturas teóricas que en el pasado parecían antagónicas. La propuesta del enfoque complejo, tiene cabida en un paisaje naciente del siglo XXI con valores como lo interrelacionado, lo caótico, dinámico, objetivo, subjetivo, el comportamiento, pensamiento, la comprensión, lo organizativo, el equilibrio, lo sistemático, indivisible y, los conceptos sustanciales de la antropología: el humano y la cultura.

Abstract

The objective of this essay, is to lead the reader to an epistemological and theoretical reflection on the proposal of the complex approach in anthropology, as a possibility to discuss the stagnation of the last five decades due to the postmodern postulates that generated a “nocaout” in the different sciences and ways of doing science. To achieve this objective, a description of the values that make up the postmodern movement is made as a starting point and discussion of the essay, taking into account two positions that at the beginning of the present century proposed to take a step beyond the postmodern, for which are cited the works of Harris from his work Theories of culture in the postmodern era (2000) and Geertz with Available light: Anthropological reflections on philosophical topics (2002); where both expose the need to reconcile theoretical positions that in the past seemed antagonistic. The proposal of the complex approach, has a place in a nascent landscape of the 21st century with values such as interrelated, chaotic, dynamic, objective, subjective, behavior, thought, understanding, organization, balance, systematic, indivisible, and the substantial concepts of anthropology: the human and culture.
