El Cuzco como inicio del establecimiento del poder español

Resumen

Durante el siglo XV se desarrolla la conquista española del imperio de los incas, estableciéndose un nuevo orden social y político que se agudiza con la muerte de Atahualpa, que había logrado la hegemonía del linaje quiteño al vencer a su hermano Huáscar, que pertenecía al linaje cusqueño. Siendo ejecutado Atahualpa los españoles optan por reconocer a Manco Inca como soberano del imperio, logrando de esta manera establecer una alianza con la elite cusqueña a la que pertenecía el nuevo soberano que en alianza con las tropas españolas logro retomar la ciudad del Cusco y expulsar defiitivamente a las tropas quiteñas. A diferencia de sus antecesores Manco se somete a las exigencias de los españoles que exigían la lealtad al Rey de España y la adopción de la religión católica, hecho que marcó la sumisión de las creencias y el poder político de origen divino que sustentaba la elite incaica en el imperio.

Abstract
During the XV century the Spanish conquest of the empire of the Incas developed, becoming established a new social and political order that gets worse with Atahualpa’s death, that had achieved the hegemony of the Quito lineage when defeating his brother Huáscar, that cusqueño was belonging to lineage. Being executed Atahualpa the spaniards choose to recognize Inca Manco like monarch of the empire, achieving this way establishing an alliance with the cusqueña elite to the one that the new monarch was belonging and in alliance with the Spanish troops managed to retake the city of Cusco and expel defiitely to the Quito troops. Unlike his predecessors, Manco undergoes the demands of the Spaniards that were demanding the loyalty to the King of Spain and the adoption of the Catholic religion, fact that marked the submission of the beliefs and the political power of divine origin that sustained the Inca elite in the empire.
