MIGRANTES VENEZOLANOS EN MÉRIDA, YUCATÁN, MÉXICO

Generar una comunidad emocional a partir de su narrativa del sufrimiento

Resumen

El artículo aborda la creciente migración de venezolanos a México. Miles de ellos se han asentado en el Caribe mexicano, en ciudades como Mérida, en la que se desarrolló esta investigación. Mediante una aproximación etnográfia se buscó conocer a estos migrantes. Se priorizó la identifiación de sus emociones, documentando cómo la tristeza, el resentimiento y la impotencia se articulan en una semántica del sufrimiento que pretendería generar una comunidad emocional. Uno de los principales hallazgos es que en el proceso de narrar y/o atestiguar un sufrimiento vivido durante su proceso migratorio pretenden que el otro se identifiue con ese sufrimiento a través de un relato, una narrativa. Este sentir se convierte en un acto social y político, pues sus narrativas remiten permanentemente a una forma de organizar políticamente una nación, de la que ellos desertaron migrando.

Abstract
The article addresses the increasing migration of Venezuelans to Mexico. Thusands of them have settled in the Mexican Caribbean, in cities like Merida, where this research was carried out. An ethnographic approach sought to meet these migrants. The identifiation of their emotions was prioritized, documenting how sadness, resentment and helplessness are articulated in a semantics of suffring that would seek to generate an emotional community. One of the main fidings is that in the process of narrating and / or witnessing a suffring lived during their migratory process, they try to make the other identify with that suffring through a story, a narrative. Ths feeling becomes a social and political act, since their narratives permanently refer to a way of politically organizing a nation, from which they deserted by migrating.
