CORRIDA DE TOROS EN EL ALTIPAMPA COMO ESPACIO DE RECONOCIMIENTO SOCIAL

Resumen

El propósito del presente es emprender una aproximación al fasto taurino en el altiplano puneño; presta atención a las transformaciones de la corrida de toros desde su implantación en Lima Virreinal, extensión en el espacio andino e instauración en el altiplano, en particular en Ayaviri, el cual expresa la tradición taurina con arraigo popular. La primera sección presenta los términos en que las teorías explican el fenómeno taurino, seguido del carácter que adquiere en Latinoamérica, cómo se implanta en el periodo colonial, el curso y evolución que sigue, y fialmente la reinvención y asimilación en el espacio andino, dando lugar a una de las mayores y signifiativas creaciones culturales. Abstract
The purpose of the present article is to undertake an approach to bullfihting in the highlands of Puno; pays attention to the transformations of the bullfiht since its implantation in Viceregal Lima, extension in the Andean space and establishment in the highlands, particulary in Ayaviri, which expresses the bullfihting tradition with popular roots. Th fist section presents the terms in which the theories explain the bullfihting phenomenon, followed by the character it acquires in Latin America, how it is implanted in the colonial period, the course and evolution that it follows, and fially the reinvention and assimilation in the Andean space, giving place to one of the largest and most signifiant cultural creations.
