SUBJETIVIDADES ANTROPOLÓGICAS. UN DEBATE AÚN PENDIENTE

Abstract

El presente ensayo tiene como objetivo analizar y discutir el problema científio de la subjetividad, como una alternativa de construcción de conocimiento de la antropología y de la ciencia, frente la hegemonía histórica que representa el positivismo-objetivo. Esta alternativa es analizada de forma explícita mediante los autores Ruth Benedict y Clifford Geertz que, al mismo tiempo, critican los antecedentes del positivismo-objetivo en la ciencia antecedente a la aparición académica de la antropología, donde se encuentran autores como: Descartes, Galilei, Darwin, Comte y Durkheim; propiamente ya en la antropología social del siglo XIX, la corriente funcionalista británica encabezada por Bronislaw Malinowski y el materialismo cultural norteamericano de Marvin Harris. Por lo que se discuten los valores que han conformado el paradigma positivismo-objetivo de la ciencia, instaurado ya desde hace más de tres siglos. El objetivo pragmático discursivo de este ensayo es invitar a ver desde un enfoque crítico la posibilidad de apertura de construcción científia a partir de los valores subjetivos, que son una alternancia de enfoque frente el positivismo-objetivo que niega todo tipo valor que no pueda ser comprobado.

Abstract
The purpose of this essay is to analyse and discuss the scientifi problem of subjectivity, as an alternative for the construction of knowledge in anthropology and science, in the opposition to the historical hegemony represented by positivism-objectivism. This alternative is explicitly analyzed by the authors Ruth Benedict and Clifford Geertz who, at the same time, criticize the antecedents of positivism-objectivism in science prior to the academic appearance of anthropology, where we fid authors such as Descartes, Galilei, Darwin, Comte and Durkheim; specifially, in the social anthropology of the 19th century, the British functionalist current headed by Bronislaw Malinowski and the North American cultural materialism of Marvin Harris. Thus, the values that have shaped the positivism-objectivism paradigm of science, which has been in place for more than three centuries, are discussed. The pragmatic discursive objective of this essay is to invite to see from a critical approach the possibility of opening scientifi construction from subjective values, which are an alternation of approach against the positivism-objectivism that denies any kind of value that cannot be proven.
