GEO POÉTICAS PROVINCIANAS ENTORNO AL CENTRO HISTÓRICO DE LIMA

Resumen

La mirada histórica de lo que reconocemos como patrimonio edifiado muchas veces nos lleva a priorizar la memoria institucional sobre la memoria de sus habitantes. Por un lado encontramos la mirada del provinciano, nuevo habitante de Lima que busca ejercer su centro histórico preformando su memoria e identidad y vinculando de esta manera su territorio poético3 con la memoria de la ciudad. Por el otro el habitante local que ha ejercido este centro histórico se pierde en esa mirada institucional y ante el olvido de su memoria es obligado a abandonar su “lugar”4 y su “barrio” dejando un centro histórico sin más historia domestica que contar. Es importante de sobre manera saber reconocer estas miradas que revitalizan la memoria e identidad de un centro construido en base al ejercicio ciudadano de los habitantes de una “ciudad patrimonial”5

Abstract
The historical view of what we recognize as built heritage oftn leads us to prioritize institutional memory instead of the memory of its populace. On one hand we have the provincial’s look, new citizen of Lima who looks for implement its historic center preformed by his memory and identity and thereby linking his poetic territory with the memory of the city. On the other hand local resident who has implement this historic center is lost in that institutional look and by his neglect memory is forced to leave his “place” his “neighborhood” leaving a historic center with no more story to tell. It is important to know how to recognize these looks and how they revitalize the memory and identity of a center built on the basis of the citizen of the inhabitants of a “heritage city”
